Grionika s.r.o. is a family-owned company with a heritage in the packaging paper industry dating back to 1999. Built on decades of experience and expertise, we continue to grow and evolve—driven by innovation, excellence, and a clear ambition to become a leader in our market segment.
Our first experience in the paper market dates back to 1999, when we began our journey in the paper business with the export of newsprint to the countries of Central Asia and several Eastern European countries, where we achieved significant success. One of the key areas of our business was food packaging paper, which also held a considerable share in our company’s overall paper portfolio.
In 2014, a new stage in the company’s development began, marked by a significant strengthening of our position in the food packaging paper market in Eastern Europe. During this period, we established the necessary warehousing infrastructure in the Czech Republic.
In 2016, continuing our regular and systematic expansion into new segments of the paper market, the company launched supplies of cupstock board for disposable paper cups, as well as white kraft paper for shopping bags.
The year 2022 marked a new stage in our business development strategy, as the company made the decision to invest in the establishment of a converting facility, with greaseproof paper—both white and brown (natural)—as its core product.
In 2023, preparatory work at the factory premises was completed, and the first phase of equipment was installed. According to the approved investment plan, this capacity will be expanded continuously through 2030.
In the same year, we introduced Flixwhite GR white greaseproof paper to the market.
In 2024, we launched Flixbrown GR greaseproof paper (PFAS-FREE), and the company successfully obtained FSC certification, adding a significant milestone to our sustainable development journey.
In 2025, we continued our efforts by preparing and introducing to the market two new grades of siliconized baking paper—Flixwhite Bake and Flixbrown Bake.
